The Tynan Motors Group's Chrysler dealership sold more of the brand's vehicles in June, 2008 than any other dealership in Australia.
What makes this more impressive is the fact that it is the first time a NSW dealer has achieved the top spot in Chrysler sales in more than a decade.
Dealer Principal Madeline Tynan said the sales success reflected an all-round effort by her staff.
"This is a real credit to everyone associated with the Chrysler brand at Tynans, from the sales staff to finance, valuers, service and administration, it was a real team effort in an exceptionally competitive market environment," she said.
Mrs Tynan said the success is also largely attributable to the Chrysler brand and its broad range of vehicles.
"You can have the greatest salespeople in the world but if you don't have the product to back it up then you are not going to win the public's support.
"The Chrysler family includes Dodge and Jeep, all with an extensive vehicle lineup from people movers such as the new Grand Voyager, through to the rugged Jeep range, limousine-like 300C, sporty Crossfire, and stunning Sebring sedan and cabrio."
Mrs Tynan said the family-owned and operated motor group was not resting on its laurels, and had plans to increase the Chrysler presence in the St George and Sutherland Shire markedly in the coming months.
