MICHAEL TYNAN MEMORIAL CHALLENGE
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Tynan Motors, in loving memory of Michael Tynan and in support of Medical research we are giving back to the community by raising funds for the St George Medical Research Foundation.
The goal is to raise $500,000 to further the work of SSMRF, of which Michael Tynan and Tynan Motors have been major supporters since it was founded 9 years ago.
The Michael Tynan Memorial Challenge will be held over the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd of October and will consist of a walk, drive and paddle from the beautifully scenic Wollongong to Tynan’s birth place in the Sutherland Shire.
The challenge, should you accept it, is to walk 100 kilometres from Wollongong to St George, via the Sutherland Shire and help raise AUD5,000 (per person or team) for Medical Research – all the while having a whale of a good time. And, if walking is not really your thing, you can choose instead to participate in a car rally or paddle from Wollongong to Sutherland Shire, or simply spread the news and cheer.
