Cambridge Markets returns to The Shire, with its amazing Cronulla Winter Market.

More than 150 micro-retailers will come together to offer everything from fashion to  homewares, art, craft, plants, photography, pet goods, toys, gifts, candles and of course a  smorgasbord of international gourmet food over the two-day event.

The Cronulla Winter Market will be held at Don Lucas Reserve, Wanda Beach, Cronulla,  over the weekend of July 30-31 2022. The alfresco market will be a beachside open-air  event with something for the whole family.

Attending stallholders include local artists and makers such as The Peony Press, Isekai  Studio, Foxytrot, Bowerbird Jewels, Sea Active and Verve Candles as well as food and  beverage operators Buffalo Vale distillery, Savannah Estate winery and Pokolbin cider,  Thicc Cookies, OMG Donuts, Halloumi Me, Knuckles to You, Brooklyn Boy Bagels and  Taylor-Made Tea, plus Sydney-based makers such as Merchants of Nonsense, Stellino  and Pointer Apparel.

Market founder and organiser Madelienne Anderson said the winter market would be a  brilliant two days out for locals and visitors to the Shire and would offer a safe, happy place  for the community to come together to celebrate the best of NSW small business.

“Our big Cronulla markets are always very special events for everyone who participates,”  Anderson said. “They are a great occasion for everyone to come together, to shop, eat and  have a wonderful time by the beach.”

She said it was important for the community to support the small businesses who came  together at these markets.

“Small business is the lifeblood of the Australian community and at our markets, hundreds  of small businesspeople, makers and creators come together to offer the community a  wide variety of exceptional goods,” she said. “We love bringing these markets together and  to see shoppers and retailers interact in this beautiful environment.”

Event sponsor, Madeline Tynan, from Tynan Mercedes-Benz Miranda, said the motor group was thrilled to be part of such a thriving community event.

“This is one of the best days out of the year in the Shire,” said Tynan. “We have so much fun bringing this amazing event to our community. It has loads of atmosphere and everyone has a great time.”

The Cronulla market is part of a brilliant series of outdoor events Cambridge Markets is  bringing to Sydney in the second half of 2022.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Sydney so many great markets between now and  Christmas,” said Anderson. “Each market is truly unique and fabulous and wonderful for all  involved.”
