With dual electric motors producing around 313kW and all-wheel drive, it’s expected to deliver strong performance along with confident handling in all conditions. Acceleration is also impressive, with a 0–100km/h time of under five seconds.

This level of performance brings together Subaru’s capability with the instant torque and smooth delivery of electric power.

Long Driving Range and Fast Charging

The Getaway is expected to offer a large battery with a driving range of over 480km (based on US testing), making it well suited to both daily commuting and longer road trips.

Fast charging capability would allow the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes, helping reduce downtime and making electric ownership more convenient.

Modern Interior and Advanced Technology

Inside, the Subaru Getaway continues the brand’s shift toward a more modern, tech-focused cabin.

A large infotainment touchscreen, digital driver display, wireless smartphone connectivity, and multiple wireless charging points are expected to feature throughout the range.

Comfort is also a priority, with heated seating, premium finishes, and a spacious cabin designed to accommodate families and long-distance travel.

Safety and Confidence as Standard

True to Subaru’s reputation, the Getaway is expected to include a full suite of advanced safety features.

Driver assistance technologies such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping support, blind-spot monitoring, and autonomous emergency braking would all be part of the package, reinforcing Subaru’s focus on safety and confidence behind the wheel.
