Today, the third generation of the Tynan family is actively working within the business, helping shape the future while carrying forward the same values established more than six decades ago: honesty, service, family and community.

Beyond the showroom floor, the Tynan family’s commitment to giving back has become one of the defining pillars of the business. Tynan Motors proudly supports organisations including St George and Sutherland Medical Research Foundation (SSMRF), the Disability Trust and Southern Districts Rugby Club, while also contributing to the University of Wollongong medical research & ANSTO initiatives and maintaining strong community ties through involvement with the Cronulla Sharks.

Annette Tynan said the family has always believed success should be measured by more than just business growth.

“We’ve always believed being part of the community means showing up, supporting local people and giving back wherever we can,” said Annette Tynan.

“To see the third generation now helping lead the business is incredibly special for our family. While the company has grown to represent 19 brands across seven locations, the values remain exactly the same as they were 60 years ago — family, integrity and community.”
